Dark Horse Wine is a California wine brand owned by the beverage giant and wine exporter, E. & J. Gallo. It produces a number of varietal wines from popular varieties of the state such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Grapes are sourced from multiple vineyards including regions such as Lodi, Sacramento and San Joaquin. Most wines in the portfolio are labeled under the far-reaching California appellation.
